The Group meeting is held on the 2nd and 4th Monday of each month from 1.30 p.m. – 3.30 p.m. at The Pavilion, Old Basing Recreation Ground.
The Group currently has 10 regular members led by Frances Kelson. New members are welcome to join.

Being able to read music is obviously an asset. However it is not essential as plenty of encouragement and help will be given. We have given short performances at a few of our U3A monthly meetings and in July we played in our second Concert of Local Talent at St Mary's Church, Old Basing. There by popular request, the Players, always glad of constructive criticism, took such comments as "how you have improved over the last two years" as a reflection on their past performance and are somewhat apprehensive regarding what might be expected of them in the year 2006. Being placed almost at the end of the Concert must be regarded as some kind of accolade. Anyone interested in joining the group should contact Shelia Armstrong. | |
