At present we meet on the first Wednesday in the month in the Parish Room St. Mary’s Church Old Basing from 10.00 a.m. until 12.00 noon. We have twenty members. Our plan is to study a variety of media, we have started with drawing and watercolour, and hopefully will move on later to oil painting, acrylics, and then to papier mache, pottery, paper making, jewellery making, flower arranging and anything else that members wish to try out! We hope that eventually the various subjects we explore will receive enough support to form more specialised art groups. The aim of this group is to give a taste of a variety of art subjects. |

| From time to time we intend to hold Saturday Workshops when we will bring in experts to help us (our recent Watercolour Techniques day was very successful). This is a self-help group with some absolute beginners and some experienced artists. It's great fun, we are all enjoying it very much. |
