
The Meditation Group has been meeting fortnightly for five years.
We have considered many and varied themes which in turn have led to deep discussions mixed with frequent laughter and fun.
Meditation is 'Time-out' from the everyday concerns of home and family and other worries and concerns we all have. We look forward to our time together and accommodating the ideas and feelings of the rest of the group which can be very different from our own. We find a point of peace for a few minutes, often difficult in this busy world.
What does meditation mean to you - to sit cross-legged on the floor, chanting a mantra, in order to reach physical and mental relaxation and that 'out of body' experience? To find out - come to one of our group meetings. You will be very welcome.
Personally, I can barely get on my knees, and as for mantras, I have a voice like a fog-horn and was no earthly good at rote learning!!
