Lunch is arranged once a term at the Robert Newman Restaurant. This is the School of Hospitality and Catering’s training restaurant at Basingstoke College of Technology, Worting Road.

A maximum of 40 paid-up members of Old Basing & District U3A are able to attend. The cost at present is £9.50 a head for a three course lunch plus tea/coffee.

There are 5 tables and each table plan is done by Wendy Ray picking the names out of a ‘hat’.
