

The aim of the Group is to provide a varied and interesting programme for members, touching on many aspects of gardening.
Each month, excluding August and January, a visit is arranged to a garden of special interest. We have enjoyed visits to some of the most outstanding gardens in the south of England. Often belonging to the National Gardens Scheme, with many hosting national plant collections, though including a few not normally open to the public.
We may be treated to a tour of the garden by the expert and enthusiastic owner or left to enjoy it at our own pace and leisure. An afternoon visit often ends with the inclusion of tea and home-made cake!
Not surprisingly this is one of the most subscribed to groups - though there is undoubtedly still room for YOU!
